Davey Law specialises in Family Law and is located at Eatons Hill.                                   

Our principal, Yvonne Davey, has practised in Family Law since 1998. Yvonne has wide experience in the complex issues which make up the field of relationship law, including property matters, parenting and children's issues, de facto matters, and pre-nuptial agreements.

Lindsay Craig, our junior solicitor, already has experience in family law in a support capacity and thereby contributes significantly to the firm's empathetic and caring ethos.

Our goal is always a just outcome for the client, whilst at the same time minimising the trauma and expense of legal action.

We believe that, in most instances, a satisfactory outcome can be negotiated without resorting to litigation. In some cases, even if the conflict does not resolve before legal documents are filed in Court, there is still an opportunity for the parties to reach agreement by way of mediation, before the matter goes to trial. We constantly aim for an amicable settlement, as we believe that an adversarial approach is unsuited to relationship conflicts. Nonetheless, if your matter is beyond negotiation, and litigation is required to gain a fair result, we will gladly represent you in Court.
